David Taylor as Constellia’s new interim Chief Executive Officer
We’re pleased to announce the appointment of David Taylor, formerly Deputy Government Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Commercial Officer at the Home Office and Chief Operating Officer at CIPS, as Constellia’s new interim Chief Executive Officer.
Since joining the business as a non-executive director in November 2025, David’s wealth of experience in driving improvement and innovation across the public and private sectors has supported Constellia’s growth journey at a transformational moment for UK public procurement.
We are grateful to have already leveraged his expertise to grow our marketplace to 4,000 suppliers and manage over £400 million of public spend whilst navigating an evolving procurement landscape.
His appointment follows a defining year for Constellia, which saw the business transition to employee ownership, deliver another standout Customer Summit, and be spotlighted in a report by the Good Growth Foundation focused on Government SME spend targets.
With more than 30 years of experience at the highest levels of UK public and private sector procurement, David has shaped and championed reform across the industry. His experience spans the full landscape in which Constellia operates and makes him uniquely placed to lead us at this crucial moment in our growth journey.
The Board would like to extend its sincere thanks to outgoing CEO Kieran Sullivan for his leadership and dedication during his tenure. Kieran will continue a working relationship with Constellia whilst developing new opportunities, and we wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.
