REQUIREMENTS
Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust (BWCET) sought assistance to find a compliant Health and Safety, Fire Safety, and Risk Management Software provider for all 48 schools within their Trust. The Trust’s aim was to strengthen local relationships, reduce the risk of no-bid responses, whilst also continuing to streamline procurement processes within an effective and compliant route.
CONSTELLIA SOLUTION
Via the AEC Neutral Vendor Framework, Constellia initiated a mini-competition, conducting market research to identify and onboard local suppliers capable of meeting BWCET’s project requirements. Through robust market engagement, Constellia ensured that suppliers not only had the capacity to deliver against project requirements but were also eager to participate in the bidding process, minimising the risk of receiving no bids. Utilising our ability to support bidders throughout the tender process, Constellia were able to streamline the supplier selection efficiently and award a local SME supplier, Pro Fire Safety & Training Ltd.
IMPACT
In addition to Constellia’s supplier sourcing expertise and market engagement, Constellia’s solution not only enabled BWCET to source a local and compliant supplier swiftly but also secured savings of £82,000 against the project budget.
