Constellia is the sole provider for The London Collaboration Group’s (LCG) Project Delivery (SoW) contract, which is made up of 29 Local Authorities across London. For more information about the appointment, please access the full press release here.

Due to this new partnership, we are inviting all professional services suppliers to join us and LCG Buyers at our ‘Meet the Buyer’ event on the 13th November in London. This is an exciting development, and we are eager to share more information with you about how this broadens supplier access to London-based public sector opportunities.

During the event, we will be joined by guest speakers Euan Beales, Head of Procurement at London Borough Havering Council and Jamie O’Conner, Contract Lead at LCG, who will share insights into LCG’s procurement goals and how the new Project Delivery (Statement of Works) contract opens up new opportunities for suppliers to engage in professional services projects.

about london collaboration group

A group of London and other local government authorities are working together on a collaborative basis to procure a managed service provision for temporary workers and project-based consultants underneath the MSTAR4 national framework.

The London Borough of Havering is acting as the lead authority in this collaborative procurement and the authorities that are included, hereafter referred to as the Customers or the London Collaboration.

The London Collaboration, via London Borough of Havering a Contracting Authority, has completed a procurement under Lot 4 of the established MSTAR4 (SoW) Framework. Members of the LCG can enter into a contract with Constellia under the terms of this procurement.

LCG Launch Event: Meet Constellia

LCG sow LAUNCh event: Meet constellia

As the sole provider for the MSTAR4 – Lot 4 Project Delivery (Statement of Works) contract, Constellia is hosting a launch event on the 9th October in London, inviting all members of The London Collaboration Group (LCG) wishing to procure Professional Services via the new dedicated lot for Statement of Works (SoW).

LCG members are encouraged to attend this event to:

  • Understand how Constellia’s SoW solution works and the benefits 
  • Discover what professional services can be procured via the SoW contract
  • Explore the benefits of joining the London Collaboration SoW Council (LCSoW)
  • Network with colleagues over lunch

During the event, you will have the chance to network with LCG members, meet the Constellia team and discover how LCG procurement functions can benefit from Constellia’s fair, transparent, and compliant route to accelerate SoW procurement.

Join Constellia and Havering Borough Council on Wednesday the 9th October, to learn how Constellia’s procurement expertise and best-in-class model can help LCG members manage SoW spend, demonstrate value-for-money, and drive Responsible Procurement for the London community. In addition, we’ll also explore how Constellia and LCG members can foster innovation and collaboration across London councils through the creation of the London Collaboration SoW (LCSoW) Council.

DARREN KNOWD

Darren Knowd brings over 30 years of procurement experience working across both the private and public sectors, including his most recent role as Head of Procurement, Commercial Sales, and Business Services at Durham County Council. Darren has also led procurement and social value at the national level as the Chair of the LGA National Advisory Group for Procurement and Chair of the National Social Value Task Force. Furthermore, he has contributed to the development of procurement policy and legislation, including the Procurement Act 2023.

HANNAH STANWORTH

As a Supplier Relationship & Marketplace Assistant for Constellia, Hannah consolidates and develops the marketplace for our ever-increasing client base.
